Kawasaki teases new sports-touring motorcycle model

Kawasaki has released a teaser video on social media hinting at a new sports-touring motorcycle. Industry speculation suggests the upcoming model is the Versys 900, a machine intended to fill the gap in the brand’s adventure tourer lineup between the Versys 650 and the Versys 1100.

The anticipated model is expected to utilize the engine from the Z900 naked bike. Early details from the teaser and leaked images suggest the motorcycle will feature 17-inch wheels with road-focused tires, emphasizing its role as a crossover rather than an off-road specialist. An official presentation is expected around October 13, coinciding with the EICMA motorcycle show.
