Kawasaki unveils 2027 motorcycle models including Z400 and Z900RS
Kawasaki has unveiled its 2027 motorcycle lineup, featuring updates to the Z400 and the Z900RS series.
The Z400 mid-range naked bike introduces a new Ebony × Metallic Carbon Gray color scheme. It retains its 398 cc parallel two-cylinder DOHC engine, producing 48 PS and 37 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed transmission. The model includes an Assist & Slipper Clutch and an Economical Riding Indicator, with a fuel consumption rate of approximately 25.7 km/liter.
The Z900RS retro-sport series is also receiving 2027 updates, specifically with new color options. The standard Z900RS adds a ‘Candy Tone Greenish Blue’ color, while the Z900RS CAFE introduces ‘Candy Tone Red’. Both models utilize a 948cc liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine delivering 116 PS and 98 Nm of torque.
Market response in Japan indicates high interest, particularly among long-time fans. Due to limited initial production quotas, dealers report that while some orders may be fulfilled by September or October, subsequent deliveries could be delayed until after December.
