Kawasaki updates 2027 retro and cruiser motorcycle lineup
Kawasaki has announced updates to its retro and cruiser motorcycle lineup for the 2027 model year. The refresh focuses on maintaining the brand’s classic identity while integrating modern technology and new color schemes.
Key models include the Eliminator 500 and KLE500, designed for accessibility and urban riding. The Eliminator 500 SE features an integrated headlight cowl, fork bellows, and a USB-C port. The KLE500 SE will include an enlarged windscreen, an aluminum engine guard, and a color TFT display.
In the Modern Classic segment, the Z650RS MY27 draws inspiration from 1970s styling but utilizes a lightweight frame and a 649 cc twin-cylinder engine. It includes two-level KTRC traction control and an LCD screen paired with analog dials. The Z900RS and Z900RS SE models also receive new liveries, with the SE version offering premium components such as gold fork stanchions, an Öhlins rear shock with remote adjustment, and Brembo monobloc calipers.
