Kawasaki updates Eliminator 500 SE cruiser for upcoming model years

Kawasaki has introduced updates for the Eliminator 500 SE cruiser, focusing on new color schemes and enhanced features for upcoming model years. The 2027 version will feature a new color palette, including Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray and Flat Ebony, replacing previous matte gray options.

The motorcycle is positioned as a competitive alternative to the Honda Rebel, specifically targeting beginner riders and those with A2 licenses. It is powered by a 451cc parallel-twin engine derived from the Ninja 400, producing 45 hp and 43 Nm of torque. Key specifications include a low seat height of approximately 734–735 mm and an operating weight of 177 kg, designed to aid maneuverability for shorter riders.

Technical features include a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch, smartphone connectivity, and an Ergo-Fit system. The SE trim adds a compact headlight cowl, fork protectors, and a USB-C port. The model is expected to arrive in Europe in January 2027, with a projected UK price of £6,599, while US availability remains to be confirmed.
