Kawasaki updates Ninja 650 for 2027 model year

Kawasaki has announced technical upgrades for the 2027 Ninja 650 model year, focusing on improving the motorcycle's front-end performance and cockpit technology.

Key mechanical changes include the introduction of a 37 mm Showa SFF-BP upside-down fork, replacing the previous 41 mm telescopic fork. The braking system is also being upgraded from axial two-piston calipers to radial-mounted four-piston calipers. Additionally, the rear suspension has been stiffened to enhance handling.

The cockpit will feature a redesigned TFT display with a new layout and smartphone connectivity capabilities. These updates are intended to provide a sportier riding experience while maintaining the model's accessible, beginner-friendly character under the company's ‘Fun-Style-Easy’ concept.
