Kawasaki updates Z900 lineup and teases new Versys 900

Kawasaki is expanding its mid-to-large displacement motorcycle lineup with updates to the Z900 series and the teased debut of the Versys 900.

The 2026 Kawasaki Z900 SE maintains the same 948 cc liquid-cooled, four-cylinder engine and 124 hp output as the standard Z900. However, the SE version features upgraded hardware, including an Öhlins S46 rear mono-shock with remote preload adjustment and Brembo M4.32 monobloc radial front calipers with 300 mm discs.

Additionally, Kawasaki has teased the Versys 900, an adventure tourer expected to debut globally on October 13, 2026. Based on the Z900 platform, the Versys 900 is anticipated to feature a larger windscreen, twin LED headlamps, and increased suspension travel. It is expected to include touring amenities such as panniers, a top box rack, and a larger fuel tank, likely positioning it between the Versys 650 and Versys 1100 in markets like India.
