Kay de Wolf extends contract with Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing

Dutch MX2 World Champion Kay de Wolf has signed a multi‑year deal to remain with the Nestaan‑run Husqvarna Factory Racing team in the FIM Motocross World Championship. The extension, announced ahead of the Lommel MXGP round, secures the 22‑year‑old rider through at least 2027 and keeps him with the programme that supported his development from age 13.

De Wolf, who moved up to the MXGP premier class in 2024, has already earned two podiums despite a season hampered by thumb, finger and ankle injuries. The renewed partnership reinforces Husqvarna’s factory presence in MXGP via Nestaan, while team manager Rasmus Jorgensen and owner Kay Hennekens retain control of the project. The deal also ensures continuity for teammate Liam Everts in MX2.
