Kay de Wolf makes comeback at Czech Republic MXGP
Dutch rider Kay de Wolf returned to the MXGP World Championship at the Loket circuit in the Czech Republic after missing three Grand Prix events with an injury. He posted a third‑fastest time in free practice, qualified seventh and moved up to sixth place in the first race before a crash in the second race forced him to retire.
Latvian rider Karlis Reisulis secured his first overall podium in the MX2 class, finishing third overall at the same event. He claimed the fastest lap in race one, showed strong starts in both races and accumulated enough points to move into seventh place in the championship standings. Both riders' teams – Husqvarna Factory Racing for De Wolf and Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 for Reisulis – praised the performances and looked ahead to the upcoming sand track round in Lommel.
