Some observers noted that ‘Immortal’ was Lohar’s first Tamil film, signed before she achieved widespread recognition, and expressed disappointment that she did not show more professional gratitude to the makers of that project.

Despite recent films like ‘Pallichattambi’ and ‘Idhayam Murali’ failing to gain significant momentum, Lohar remains active in South Indian cinema.
