Kayode Olasekun Foundation launches humanitarian pilot in Ekiti State

The Kayode Olasekun Foundation (KOF) has launched a pilot humanitarian intervention in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, to assist residents facing economic challenges. The outreach, held on August 8, 2026, provided food items and cash assistance to various vulnerable groups, including widows, students, single mothers, and the elderly.

Founder Francis Kayode Olasekun stated that the pilot program serves as a way for the foundation to study grassroots needs and develop more effective, long-term strategies. While providing immediate relief, the foundation intends to move beyond simple palliative distribution toward sustainable empowerment initiatives designed to help beneficiaries achieve economic independence.
