Summer Sports Schools Battalgazi Malatya youth sports programs sports infrastructure

Various regional initiatives in Turkey are focusing on youth development through sports and education. In Battalgazi, Malatya, the Summer Sports Schools concluded with a ceremony at the Çöşnük Sports Complex. Organized by the Battalgazi Municipality and the Malatya Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate, the program provided activities across approximately 40 different branches to nearly 10,000 students.

In Kocaeli, the municipality is continuing its ‘No School Without a Hoop’ project, which aims to provide basketball and volleyball courts to schools by installing asphalt and acrylic surfaces to encourage healthy lifestyles among youth.

Educational investments are also being highlighted in Kayseri, where a 16-classroom school project costing 85 million TL is nearing completion through a partnership between the local government and private donors. Additionally, the Turkish Diyanet Foundation completed summer camps in cities including Bursa, Istanbul, Konya, and Sakarya, offering academic, social, and cultural programs for university students.
