Turkish sports organizations prepare for 2026-2027 season

Turkish sports organizations are preparing for the 2026-2027 season. The Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) held the fixture draw in Istanbul for the Women's Volleyball 2nd League. Kayseri Atletikspor will compete in Group 15, beginning their season with a match against Malatya-based Nicer Hotel Voleybol. The first half of the league is scheduled from September 27 to December 6, 2026, with the second half running from December 20, 2026, to February 7, 2027.

In basketball, TOFAŞ secured an 81-77 victory against Glint Körfez Basket in their first preseason friendly match at the Nilüfer TOFAŞ Sports Hall. Led by head coach Massimo Cancellieri, the team overcame an early deficit to win. TOFAŞ is preparing for upcoming competitions in the Türkiye Sigorta Basketball League and BKT EuroCup.

Additionally, the Turkish Esports Federation (TESFED) has announced an expanded roadmap for 2026. The plan includes the Turkey Cup, an Esports Festival, and a dedicated Women's Cup, aiming to strengthen the professional ecosystem and increase Turkey's visibility in the global esports landscape.
