Kayseri Chamber of Commerce and Erbil delegation sign trade agreements

The Kayseri Chamber of Commerce (KTO) hosted a delegation from the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry to strengthen economic ties between Turkey and Iraq. Following B2B meetings, preliminary agreements were reached in five strategic sectors: agriculture, construction, steel doors, PVC door and window systems, and carpet complexes. Additionally, two companies reached agreements regarding dealership rights.

KTO President Ömer Gülsoy emphasized that the goal is to move beyond simple trade toward joint investments and strong supply chains. Kamaran Salah Saeed Al-Khayyat, Vice President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also noted that Kayseri and Erbil have established sister-city status and requested support for the launch of direct flights between the two cities.
