Kayseri Chamber of Commerce Chairman urges reasonable pricing

Ömer Gülsoy, Chairman of the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce (KTO), has issued several recommendations for the food and beverage and cafe sectors in Kayseri and throughout Turkey. He called on businesses to keep prices at reasonable levels, specifically addressing excessive pricing in tourism regions and high commission rates on e-commerce marketplaces.

Gülsoy emphasized the importance of institutionalization for local brands, stating that they should aim to expand globally through branching, similar to international chain brands. He noted that long-term survival in the industry requires developing unique concepts and original products rather than merely imitating existing businesses.

Addressing young entrepreneurs, Gülsoy advised them to prioritize talent, reputation, and patience over mere capital. He warned that businesses failing to establish proper infrastructure and institutional foundations often struggle to remain sustainable.
