Kayseri Chamber of Commerce advances regional tech and economic initiatives

The Kayseri Chamber of Commerce (KTO) is actively pursuing regional economic development through technological innovation and institutional cooperation. KTO President Ömer Gülsoy recently hosted the Academic Chambers Union to discuss strengthening the city's brand value by combining technical expertise with commercial experience.

A major upcoming initiative is the Kayseri TEKMER project, a 1,700 square meter technology and entrepreneurship center. The facility will support startups and established firms in fields such as robotics, software, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation, providing mentorship and access to finance.

Simultaneously, KTO is entering an election period. Candidate Ali Alkan has announced his campaign, emphasizing a focus on meritocracy, industry representation, and increasing Kayseri's role in the defense industry through state incentives. Other candidates, including Şenol Arslan, have highlighted the importance of direct field engagement with members to address production costs and sectoral challenges.
