Kayseri Chamber of Mechanical Engineers honors veteran engineers

The Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO) Kayseri Branch held the ‘Honor Year in Profession Plaque Ceremony’ to recognize engineers who have completed 40, 45, 50, and 55 years of service.

During the event, MMO Kayseri Branch President Süleyman Varol emphasized the historical role of engineers in national development, noting their contributions from factories to construction sites. Varol highlighted that the current standing of the profession is built upon the sacrifices of previous generations who worked with limited resources to establish the country's infrastructure.

The ceremony included various officials, such as MMO General President Yunus Yener, Erciyes University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, and Kayseri Chamber of Industry President Mehmet Büyüksimitci. The plaques were presented as symbols of professional legacy and the commitment of younger generations to uphold these standards.
