Kayseri Şeker opens new limestone quarry in Nevşehir

Kayseri Şeker has officially opened a new limestone quarry investment in the Türkeli town of the Avanos district in Nevşehir. The project was inaugurated during a ceremony attended by local officials, including Türkeli Mayor Mustafa Demir and Kayseri Pancar Ekicileri Kooperatifi Chairman Hüseyin Akay.

The investment is intended to strengthen the company’s production chain and contribute to the economic development of the Central Anatolia region. Local leaders noted that the quarry is expected to create new employment opportunities, particularly for local youth, and provide significant value to the regional economy beyond sugar production.
