Kayseri Şekerspor opens new modern wrestling and sports hall

Kayseri Şekerspor has officially opened a modern Wrestling and Sports Hall designed to support the development of Turkish wrestling. The new facility, built within the Kayseri Şekerspor Club premises, features a balloon system and measures 50x22 meters.

The center is equipped with six wrestling mats, a fully equipped weight training center, a fitness salon, and extensive training areas. This infrastructure allows athletes to conduct technical wrestling drills alongside strength, conditioning, and fitness training in a single location.

The opening ceremony was attended by prominent figures in Turkish sports, including Turkish Wrestling Federation President, Olympic and World Champion Taha Akgül, and Olympic and World medalist Rıza Kayaalp. During the event, Kayaalp emphasized the responsibility that comes with such facilities, stating, ‘If these opportunities are provided to us, we must return the favor’ through athletic success.
