Kayseri Fire Department responded to 1,671 incidents in August

The Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department reported responding to 1,671 incidents during the month of August. The department's operations included 1,086 fires, 448 rescue operations, 119 traffic accidents, and 18 floods.

The firefighting force operates with 19 stations, 57 vehicles, and 343 personnel. Under the administration of Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, the department has focused on modernizing its equipment and vehicle fleet to improve response efficiency.

In addition to emergency interventions, the department conducted preventative activities in August, providing training to 689 individuals and performing 87 inspections to enhance public safety awareness.
