Kayseri hosts 4th Gastronomy Days festival

The 4th Kayseri Gastronomy Days, hosted by the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Millet Bahçesi, is showcasing the city's deep culinary heritage. The event aims to promote local flavors, preserve traditional recipes for future generations, and boost gastronomy tourism.

MasterChef Türkiye judges Mehmet Yalçınkaya and Somer Sivrioğlu attended the event, praising the city's gastronomy investments and the Kitchen Arts Center. Yalçınkaya noted that Kayseri's culinary identity should be viewed as more than just sucuk and pastırma, highlighting the city's 6,000-year cultural history.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç visited the festival to meet with citizens and inspect dishes prepared by master chefs. The festivities included social activities such as firework displays to celebrate the region's rich food culture.
