Kayseri: Woman killed after being thrown from 5th-floor hotel room

A 28-year-old woman, Selin Gökhan, was killed in a hotel in the Talas district of Kayseri, Turkey. Following an argument in a room on the 5th floor, 30-year-old Nurettin Can Ş. allegedly stabbed Gökhan and threw her from the window. Gökhan fell onto a mezzanine level and died at the scene.

Police quickly apprehended Nurettin Can Ş. following the incident. Investigators discovered a video recorded by the suspect on his mobile phone shortly after the crime, in which he appears to confess, stating, “My result is prison, I know that too. Forgive me.”

Authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation into the motive and circumstances of the murder. The victim's body was taken to a morgue for an autopsy.
