Kayseri Izzet Altun Primary School hosts ebru art exhibition

The 3rd‑grade students of Izzet Altun Primary School in Kayseri organized an ebru art exhibition titled “Kadim Bir Mirasla Buluşma”. The opening ceremony was attended by district education director Sıddık Kaya, school principal Esra Taş, teachers Ferhat Sevgi and Gökhan Karataş, as well as parents and students. Kaya praised the students’ potential, stating that each child “carries a talent that must be brought out through touch” and highlighted the exhibition’s alignment with the “Turkey Century Education Model”.

Teachers explained that the event aimed to reconnect students with their cultural heritage, foster confidence, patience, and careful work, and deepen understanding of the historical and artistic significance of ebru. The exhibition displayed a variety of handcrafted ebru pieces in the school’s conference hall foyer.
