Kayseri launches pilot for Regional Smart Transportation Systems
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has launched a pilot study for a Regional Smart Transportation Systems (AUS) Architecture to modernize the city's transport infrastructure. Conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the project aims to align Kayseri's current and planned smart transportation investments with the National AUS Architecture.
The national framework is based on the ARC-IT model and consists of four layers: institutional, functional, physical, and communication. This architecture includes 50 different service packages across 12 areas. Using a Regional AUS Architecture Software Tool, officials will create a digital model for Kayseri to strengthen system integration, facilitate data sharing between institutions, and design the necessary infrastructure for communication between different systems and physical objects.
