Kayseri man arrested after stealing car following rejected job application

A 27-year-old man, identified as Y. A., was apprehended in Kayseri after stealing a parked Tofaş automobile following a rejected job application at the Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone.

The incident occurred on 22nd Street in the Melikgazi district. After receiving a negative response from a firm, the suspect allegedly stole the vehicle belonging to F. B. Witnesses from a neighboring factory reportedly observed the suspect sitting in the car before driving away.

Following a report to the police, teams from the Kayseri Provincial Police Department's Auto Theft Bureau located the vehicle parked in an empty lot on Derebey Street in the Battalgazi neighborhood. The suspect was caught near a nearby residence. The vehicle was returned to the owner, though F. B. noted the car had sustained significant damage. The suspect, who reportedly has an extensive criminal record, is facing legal proceedings.
