Kayseri launches Fuar38 fair and Turkish World cultural panel
Kayseri’s Kocasinan municipality opened the month‑long Fuar38 fair at Kadir Has Fair Park, with mayor Ahmet Çolakbayrakdar saying the event “revives the city’s cultural memory and social life.” The program runs for 38 days and features performances by Muazzez Ersoy, Sefa Doğanay, Coşkun Sabah, İsmail Altunsaray, Hakkı Bulut, the Hatay Civilisations Choir and Kubat, alongside children’s activities and cultural exhibitions.
In a separate cultural initiative, Kayseri Metropolitan Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç addressed the Dadaloğlu Avşar Cultural and Art Festival panel, highlighting Kayseri’s designation as the 2027 TÜRKSOY Turkish World Culture Capital and its historic ties to the Turkish world. North Cyprus President Ersin Tatar attended, and Büyükkılıç emphasized that “Avşar culture is a shared value of the Turkish world.” Both events aim to strengthen Kayseri’s cultural heritage and promote its role in regional cultural networks.
