Kayseri Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç Launches Joint Tourism Promotion

Kayseri Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç organized a comprehensive field program together with Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) to evaluate the city’s tourism assets and devise joint marketing strategies. The delegation inspected key destinations, including Erciyes High‑Altitude Camp and the Soğanlı Valley, and visited restored historic churches such as Başköy Aziz George Kilise.

During the visits the officials discussed a four‑season tourism vision for Kayseri, aiming to raise its profile in national and international markets. Meetings were held with Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, local district leaders, and TGA directors, focusing on coordinated promotion, infrastructure upgrades, and new tourism projects.
