Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality repairs 1,134 instances of vandalism

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has completed repair and maintenance works following 1,134 instances of vandalism and damage identified across the city's public spaces over the last eight months. The repairs targeted parks, recreation areas, national gardens, and hobby gardens.

The maintenance efforts, which cost a total of 1.25 million TL, included fixing lighting systems, water taps, restrooms, sports equipment, playground sets, benches, and fences. These works were carried out using the municipality's own resources, including personnel, vehicles, and machinery, to avoid paying labor costs to external contractors.

Key locations undergoing renovation include İnönü Park, Beştepeler Recreation Area, and the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan National Garden, among others.
