Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality supports children with special needs

The Yüksel Ateş Disabled Children's House, operated by the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, provides specialized social and developmental support for children with special needs and their families. Located within Mimarsinan Park, the center serves children aged 4 to 12 diagnosed with Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, mental disabilities, and cognitive developmental delays.

Under the guidance of expert instructors, the facility offers play-based activities, social programs, and entertainment designed to enhance the social, emotional, and cognitive development of the children. The center operates on weekdays from 09:00 to 17:00 and remains active during school holidays to provide continuous support. This service allows families to entrust their children to a safe environment while gaining time for themselves, fostering social interaction among peers for the children.
