Kayseri Millet Bahçesi receives new 900-vehicle parking lot
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has completed a new parking facility near the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Millet Bahçesi to alleviate traffic congestion and improve visitor access. The new lot has a capacity of 900 vehicles and was built at a cost of approximately 20 million TL.
The facility is located opposite the 1.26 million square meter park. Visitors using the new parking area can enter the park directly on foot via the gate facing Erciyes University. This project aims to manage high vehicle density during peak periods, such as summer months and during social or sporting events.
Prior to this addition, the Millet Bahçesi provided a total capacity of 4,247 vehicles across 16 different parking areas. This existing capacity includes 4,131 standard vehicle spaces, 116 spaces for disabled drivers, and 33 bus parking spots.
