Kayseri organizes 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day Run

The Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality will hold a Democracy and National Unity Day run at Erciyes University on Wednesday, 15 July 2026, starting at 09:00 from the Marianne Molu Amphitheatre. The event, free to participants, is intended to honor the memory of martyrs and veterans, celebrate Turkey’s democratic spirit, and promote national unity through sport.

Mayor Dr Memduh Büyükkılıç highlighted the city’s growing sporting profile, noting Kayseri’s designation as the 2029 World Sports Capital. Registrations are being taken via www.kayseriyarimaratonu.com, and the run will feature flags and messages of solidarity throughout the course.
