Kayseri OSB hosts Green Industry Meetings

The Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) hosted the ‘Green Industry Meetings’ as part of the Turkey Green Industry Project, an initiative led by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. The event aimed to inform industrialists about green transformation processes.

During the opening remarks, Kayseri OSB President Mehmet Yalçın highlighted the challenges facing the sector, including shrinking demand in Europe and Asia, trade tensions between the US and China, and global supply chain uncertainties. He also noted the impact of international conflicts, such as those in Russia-Ukraine and the Middle East, on industrial stability.

Yalçın emphasized the need for support in several areas, including lower energy costs, specialized industrial tariffs, and assistance with raw material and logistics costs. He also noted that industrialists are seeking restructuring of tax and social security debts, as well as improved access to credit for production and investment.
