Kayseri police arrest two suspects in fatal pepper spray and knife attack

Two 18-year-old suspects, identified as E. T. and B. K., have been arrested following a fatal robbery-murder in the Kocasinan district of Kayseri. The incident occurred on Yıldırım Street in the Sahabiye neighborhood, where the suspects targeted two foreign nationals, S. M. and N. M.

Security camera footage captured the suspects chasing the victims before using pepper spray to incapacitate them. Following the spray attack, the suspects stabbed the victims and fled the scene after stealing a mobile phone. S. M. succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, while N. M. was injured during the assault.

Kayseri Police Department's Homicide Bureau conducted an operation that led to the apprehension of both suspects at their residences. Authorities recovered the weapon, pepper spray, and the stolen phone. Both individuals were subsequently remanded in custody by a court.
