Kayseri Provincial Gendarmerie documentary launched

The documentary ‘Erciyes’in Gölgesinde: Kayseri İl Jandarma Komutanlığı’ (In the Shadow of Erciyes: Kayseri Provincial Gendarmerie Command) was officially launched at the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce Conference Hall.

The film details the security and public order operations conducted by the Kayseri Provincial Gendarmerie Command within the city. During the launch event, Deputy Governor Mehmet Türköz emphasized that the gendarmerie represents both the compassion and the strength of the state, utilizing modern technology and expert personnel to maintain safety.

Brigadier General Bilgihan Yeşilyurt, the Provincial Gendarmerie Commander, stated that the documentary showcases the efforts made to ensure peace and order in Kayseri. The film’s screenwriter and director, Duygu Uludaşdemir, noted that the project aims to highlight not only the duties of the gendarmerie but also the sacrifices made by personnel, their families, martyrs' families, and veterans.
