Kayseri students and teachers plant trees and pepper seedlings in Develi

In Develi, a district of Kayseri, teachers and students from Necmiye‑Mustafa Maşlak Vocational Anatolian High School joined a tree‑planting effort under the direction of school principal Mahmut Arslan and police officer Serhat Hasbenlioğlu. More than 30 saplings of cedar, black pine and fruit trees were dug and planted in the school yard.

Separately, students from Kayseri University’s Develi Hüseyin Şahin Vocational School took part in an applied‑training program organized by the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality. Under Mayor Dr Memduh Büyükkılıç, the students planted 1,200 pepper seedlings in the Natural Products Garden, visited a seed bank and observed historic agricultural tools, reinforcing practical agricultural education and local green initiatives.
