Kayseri to host Historical Cities Union assembly in September

The Historical Cities Union (TKB) will hold its 2026 Second Ordinary Assembly Meeting in Kayseri on September 18-19. The event will be chaired by Mansur Yavaş, the Mayor of Ankara and President of the Historical Cities Union.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç has announced that all preparations are complete to host mayors and assembly members from various cities. The meeting will focus on the protection and sustainability of cultural heritage.

The program includes opening speeches by both Büyükkılıç and Yavaş, followed by presentations and discussions. Participants are scheduled to visit several local sites, including the Millet Bahçesi, Erciyes High Altitude Camp Center, the Ağırnas Mimar Sinan House, and the Koramaz Valley Museum.
