Kayserispor to file complaint over Manisa FK coach's knife allegations

Kayserispor management is preparing to file a criminal complaint against Manisa FK technical official Selman Coşkun following controversial statements made after their recent match.

Following Kayserispor’s 3-2 victory, Coşkun claimed that fans in the mixed area were holding knives, suggesting a threat to personal safety. However, Kayserispor officials stated that an extensive review of stadium security camera footage showed no evidence of anyone carrying knives.

The club intends to submit these recordings to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. They are seeking legal action against Coşkun for “publicly spreading misleading information” and potentially for slander, arguing that his unsubstantiated claims have unfairly cast suspicion on both the club and the city of Kayseri.
