Kazakhstan and Moldova to face off in UEFA Nations League

Kazakhstan and Moldova are set to face each other at the Astana Arena on October 2, 2026, as part of the UEFA Nations League C group stage. Both teams enter the match seeking their first victory in the competition.

Kazakhstan has struggled in their recent campaign, recording a 1-1 draw against the Faroe Islands and a 2-1 loss to Slovakia. While they have faced challenges in League C, they have maintained a strong home record, remaining unbeaten in their last four home matches with three clean sheets.

Moldova, having previously won their group in League D, has also faced difficulties, including a 2-0 loss to Slovakia and a 1-1 draw with the Faroe Islands. The team has not secured a win in all competitions since November 2024.
