Kazimierz Volunteer Fire Department celebrates 120th anniversary

The Kazimierz Volunteer Fire Department (OSP) is preparing to celebrate its 120th anniversary on August 22. Founded in 1906 as a social initiative, the unit has a long history of protecting the town from fires, which historically threatened the dense wooden architecture and the parish church.

The anniversary program includes a Holy Mass at the Parish Church of St. John the Baptist and St. Bartholomew at 12:00 PM. Currently, the firefighters are seeking funding for a new fire station project.
