Kazım Koyuncu biopic ‘Kazım: Yarım Kalan’ announces cast

Preparations are underway for the film ‘Kazım: Yarım Kalan’, a biopic detailing the life and musical journey of the influential Black Sea musician Kazım Koyuncu. Directed by Özcan Alper, the production aims to capture Koyuncu’s unique musical style, which blended Black Sea melodies with rock influences, as well as his personal struggles and cultural legacy.

Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu will portray Kazım Koyuncu. Serra Arıtürk has joined the cast to play Türkan, an architecture student with a passion for literature who holds a significant place in Koyuncu’s life. The film is scheduled for release on January 1, 2027, with filming taking place amidst the natural atmosphere of the Black Sea region.
