Kazunari Matsumoto joins Gainare Tottori on loan from Shonan Bellmare

Shonan Bellmare has announced the developmental loan transfer of U-19 Japan national team defender Kazunari Matsumoto to J3 club Gainare Tottori. The loan agreement is set to run until June 30, 2027. Under the terms of the contract, Matsumoto is ineligible to participate in official matches against Shonan Bellmare.

Matsumoto, who joined Shonan from Ryutsu Keizai University Kashiwa High School last year, expressed his determination to take on the challenge at Tottori. His previous season was impacted by injuries sustained during high school, though he saw limited action in the J2/J3 Centennial Concept League earlier this year.
