Kazuyoshi Saito releases ‘Wadachi’ music video featuring look-alike metal band

Japanese musician Kazuyoshi Saito has released the music video for his new song ‘Wadachi’, the lead track from his upcoming album ‘Nichijo Days’, scheduled for release on September 9. The song was originally written as a commercial theme for Bridgestone’s ‘BLIZZAK WZ-1’ for autumn 2025. Saito performed all musical parts himself during the recording process.

The music video, directed by Kosuke Yamashita, features a mysterious heavy metal band consisting of members named Utagi (Vocals), Gitagi (Guitar), Basugi (Bass), and Doragi (Drums), all of whom bear a strong resemblance to Saito. A making-of video detailing the band is expected to be released at a later date.

‘Nichijo Days’ marks Saito’s first album in approximately three years and four months. The album incorporates live strings and features cover art designed and photographed by Saito himself. To support the release, the ‘KAZUYOSHI SAITO LIVE TOUR 2026 “Nichijo Days”’ will begin on September 18, featuring a new live arrangement that includes a string section.
