Kazuyoshi Sakai produces new musical group Monaki

Kazuyoshi Sakai, the leader of the musical group Junretsu, is now serving as a producer for the newly debuted group Monaki. Sakai, who previously worked as a child actor before facing a period of professional struggle, has transitioned into a mentorship role to support the rapid rise of Monaki, whose related video views have surpassed 1.7 billion.

In the variety program ‘Kanmuri Monaki’, member Sakai Jr. drew attention during a palmistry segment featuring guest fortune teller Shuhei Shimada. Shimada noted that Sakai Jr. possesses an exceptionally short life line, describing it as one of the shortest he has seen among tens of thousands of people. However, Shimada clarified that the curve of the line is a more significant indicator of physical health than its length.
