KB Bank expands digital services and lifestyle benefits in Indonesia
PT Bank KB Indonesia Tbk (KB Bank) is enhancing its digital services and card benefits to improve customer retention in an increasingly competitive market. Retail banking director Harryanto Pramono noted that customers now use mobile devices to compare pricing and accessibility instantly, shifting loyalty away from traditional brands.
To engage younger consumers, the bank is expanding promotions across e-commerce and retail channels. It is also leveraging its connection to the KB Financial Group to offer lifestyle-oriented initiatives, such as facilitating consultations at clinics in Seoul and providing discounts or cashback at Korean cosmetics retailers.
KB Bank is also refining its KBstar digital platform and collaborating with other KB Financial Group entities in Indonesia, including KB Valbury Sekuritas, KB Finansia Multi Finance (Kreditplus), and KB Asset Management. The goal is to encourage customers to utilize a broader range of services, such as mortgages, car loans, and securities, to increase stickiness and reduce the likelihood of customers switching banks.
