KB Securities hosts youth mock investment competition awards

KB Securities held an awards ceremony for ‘Motu of the Marble’, a mock investment competition for young people, organized in collaboration with the National Pension Service (NPS) and Jeonbuk State. The competition, which ran for three weeks in August, saw participation from 13,615 individuals.

The first-place winner achieved a return of 151.03%, receiving 20 million won. The second and third-place winners recorded returns of 81.71% and 80.34%, respectively, earning 10 million won and 5 million won. In addition to prize money, the top three winners were offered internship opportunities at KB Securities.

The initiative is part of a business agreement between KB Financial Group, NPS, and Jeonbuk State aimed at fostering a financial ecosystem and revitalizing the regional economy. KB Securities President Lee Hong-gu stated that the competition aims to help youth experience the capital market and form healthy investment habits.
