KBC Osijek plans new 600 million euro hospital project

A major healthcare infrastructure project is advancing in eastern Croatia, with plans to construct a new Clinical Hospital Center (KBC) in Osijek. The project is estimated to cost approximately 584 million euros excluding VAT, aimed at replacing 15 existing hospital buildings that currently serve five counties.

As part of the preparation, a public tender has been opened for professional construction supervision, with an estimated cost of up to 20.45 million euros. Bids for this supervision service are expected to be received by September 25.

If a contract is signed with a contractor by the end of 2026, the new facility—which will consist of ten blocks and eight floors—is projected to be completed by 2030 or 2031.
