Kiwoom Heroes defeat KIA Tigers with 9th-inning walk-off grand slam

In a dramatic KBO League matchup at Gocheok Sky Dome, Kiwoom Heroes secured a comeback victory against the KIA Tigers. With two outs in the bottom of the 9th inning and the bases loaded, Kiwoom's Kim Jae-hyun hit a walk-off grand slam off KIA closer Lee Eui-lee to seal an 8-7 win.

Despite the loss, KIA's Kim Do-young hit his 38th home run of the season, moving within two home runs of the youngest player to reach the 40-home run milestone. Additionally, KIA recently achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first KBO team to reach 36,000 career strikeouts.

Following the loss, KIA looks toward roster reinforcements as relief pitcher Kwak Do-gyu is expected to return to the first team after recovering from a thigh injury.
