Kübra Korkut targets 2026 World Para Table Tennis Championship

Turkish para table tennis player Kübra Korkut is preparing for the 2026 ITTF World Para Table Tennis Championships, scheduled to take place in Pattaya, Thailand, from November 13 to 19.

Korkut, a multi-medalist including silver in the 2012 London Paralympics (team) and 2024 Paris Paralympics (individual), stated that her training with both the national team and her club is progressing well. Her primary goal is to reach the podium, with the ultimate ambition of winning the championship.

Reflecting on her career, Korkut noted that both success and failure serve as motivators. She expressed a desire to continue competing until the age of 65, provided her health and physical condition allow. She also highlighted the importance of managing stress and anxiety during high-stakes matches.
