KC Luxury cocaine trafficking Lagos Federal High Court medical bail money laundering

Afolabi Michael Kazeem, a Lagos socialite known as KC Luxury, appeared at the Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday in an ambulance while receiving oxygen. His legal team is seeking medical bail to allow him to receive specialized treatment at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital.

A nurse from the Police Hospital in Falomo, Bukki Yahya, testified to Justice Musa Kakaki that Kazeem had been diagnosed with asthma and sepsis. Due to his critical condition, Kazeem remained in the ambulance and was unable to enter the courtroom. In response to the defendant's medical state, Justice Kakaki directed that Kazeem be returned to the hospital.

Kazeem is standing trial alongside Boniface Freeman Ochoche Sule and Ikechukwu Ekugo Patriarch. The defendants face allegations involving the trafficking of 184.5 kilograms of cocaine and money laundering.
