KCJ GROUP announces upcoming KidZania educational programs in Japan

KCJ GROUP, the operator of the KidZania vocational experience facilities, has announced two distinct educational initiatives scheduled for late 2026 in Japan.

From November 11 to 17, 2026, KidZania Koshien will host ‘TAX WEEK 2026’ in collaboration with the Federation of Taxpayers Associations. The event features a temporary ‘TAX OFFICE’ pavilion where children can learn about consumption tax, tax rates, and payment methods. Activities include conducting tax audits at retail stores, participating in a tax-themed riddle game supervised by former tax officials, and engaging in a mission rally to earn commemorative badges.

Additionally, the ‘Out of KidZania in Kitakyushu 2026’ program will take place in December 2026 at Kitakyushu Messe. This initiative allows children to experience real-world jobs outside the traditional KidZania facility, including aircraft maintenance, hotel service, and traditional textile production. A new feature for this event is a high school internship program, where students who have completed corporate training will design and lead work experiences for younger participants.
