KDDI expands ConnectIN povo service to Fujitsu FMV laptops

KDDI, KDDI Digital Life, and Wi2 have announced the expansion of their “ConnectIN povo” service to include new models of Fujitsu Client Computing’s FMV Note U laptops. Starting October 22, 2026, these devices will feature integrated 5G/4G LTE connectivity via the povo2.0 network.

Users can select from three data capacity options—100GB, 500GB, or 1TB—which can be utilized over a period of up to three years. The service also integrates Wi2’s “Giga-zo Wi-Fi,” providing secure access to over 100,000 public Wi-Fi spots across Japan.

Additionally, customers using “au Hikari Plus” with specific Wi-Fi options may receive monthly promo codes for a 31-day unlimited data bonus for their ConnectIN povo-compatible PCs. The service aims to provide seamless connectivity for mobile professionals without the need for monthly fixed costs, allowing users to purchase additional data as needed.
